Insider Look at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort Room
The iconic Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa has been around since the 1970’s and recently underwent a massive $20 million dollar renovation and rejuvenation of its property, which was completed in March 2017.
Located right next to Clearwater Beach’s famous Pier 60, it’s waterfront views are prime location for beach goers. The other unique feature of the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa is that it is situated on 10-acres of private beach, giving guests a less crowded way to enjoy the beautiful gulf waters.

We opted for a double room at the Hilton for our family of four and it was the perfect option, with enough space and amenities.

As Hilton Honors members we received two complimentary bottles of water, which, given the beach prices was a welcomed savings and refreshment upon our arrival.
There was also a coffee maker with tea and coffee options, and although breakfast is not complimentary there are three diverse dining options on premises at the hotel.
The room also featured a large flat screen TV, a mini fridge, and free WiFi access. Although the channels were limited and movies could be rented for $19.99, we didn’t really watch any television since there was so much to do around the hotel grounds.

We also received wrist bands for pool and private beach access, as well as cards for towel access. Towels for the beach won’t be found in the room but rather are located on the ground floor by the pool.

The cabana and chairs weren’t free but we got a nice shady cabana rental with two lounge chairs for $30 for the whole day. But, trekkers to Clearwater Beach should keep in mind that Hilton staff will come around to break them down at 6:00 PM.
The bathroom was spacious and very clean. The shower was large and we thought it was interesting that the water drains into the side of its tile floor. One thing that’s very important to us is the cleanliness of hotel bathrooms, as you can imagine! We also liked the the bathroom lighting was soft and soothing, which made it feel more spa-like.
We really enjoyed our one night stay at the Clearwater Hilton Resort. Our 24 hour stay actually felt like several days of relaxation.
